Cleaning the world, one wash at a time

Cleaning the world, one wash at a time

How it Started

WashyWash was envisioned by a team of young people who really care about the world we live in, and are passionate about leading healthier and greener lifestyles. The moment we discovered that many dry-clean/laundry shops use risky chemicals with negative impact on us and our environment, we knew we had to do something, and that was when WashyWash was born.

Even though many traditional dry-clean shops clean our clothes from stains and dirt, they contaminate our clothes and the environment we live in as well, which in turn can cause serious health risks. The most popular dry-clean chemical used worldwide is called PERC. It is also known under the systematic name tetrachloroethene, or perchloroethylene. Many scientific articles and studies have emerged to highlight the health risks associated with using PERC on our garments.

Why we don't use PERC (perchloroethylene also known as tetrachloroethylene, one of the main chemicals in dry cleaning)

So the reasons why WashyWash exists are

  • We want to rid the world of toxic chemicals in laundry and drycleaning
  • We want to expand and operate Eco-friendly facilities and scatter them across the world and make this technology available to everyone
  • Provide this better and healthier alternative at affordable prices for everyone to benefit from
  • Use a chunk of the company's net profits to launch Eco-friendly and healthy alternatives in other mediums as a token of giving back
  • Getting corporates across the world to affiliate themselves with the WashyWash mission and give part of that revenue to a good environmental cause

EcoClean is the future of dry-clean

With top-class water and energy efficiency, as well as biodegradable detergents, EcoCleaning is a truly “greener and cleaner” alternative to the PERC dry-cleaning method. The EcoClean technology is friendly to our environment and provides a flawless standard of cleaning.

By refraining from the use of strong chemicals, some people assume that this will compromise on the cleaning quality. This is not the case with EcoClean, our biodegradable detergents provide an excellent cleaning quality that surpasses dry-cleaning on most garments while remaining harmless to the environment.

Chemicals and solvents commonly used in the dry-cleaning process can be harmful to both the operator and the customer, so the eco-friendly cleaning process of WashyWash ensures there is no air pollution, no water pollution, no soil pollution or any health risks.

So to sum it all up, WashyWash is just a better and healthier alternative that we want to take globally to every city, to every household, to every person who wants to change the world as much as we do.
